Special Shabbat for Seeach Sod Beit Shemesh
Participants in Seeach Sod’s programs in Beit Shemesh travelled to Jerusalem, where they enjoyed an uplifting and event-filled Shabbat together. On Friday, students enjoyed activities run by David Hachkin, and on Shabbat itself they participated in singing, divrei Torah, and the spirit of comradery. A good time was had by all.
Moving Siddur Party at Ma’oz Yerushalayim
The first grade girls and their mothers had a wonderful time at the moving ceremony, at which the students received their siddurs and made a beautiful presentation on the theme of “Pitchu li,” “Open the Gates for Me.”

A, who lives in the Prupis St. apartment, recently celebrated a special birthday.
A Very Special Siyum
A moving siyum was recently held at Seeach Sod’s kollel. Seven years ago, one of the kollel members, Oz, was severely injured in a car accident and was miraculously saved. To commemorate the event, the kollel hosted a special meal and a siyum of Masechet Brachot. They were joined by our regular volunteers from Yeshivat Chedvat HaTorah and the staff of the day-hab and vocational centers.
End of the Year Events
As the school year came to an end, the students in Seeach Sod’s early education programs celebrated their graduations with their parents. The atmosphere was festive, and the parents were completely enchanted by the most adorable kids in the world! The positive feedback from parents energized the staff to continue their incredible commitment to their work.
Bar Mitzvah and Bat Mitzvah Celebrations
A moving Bar Mitzvah celebration recently took place in Talmud Torah Otzar Yerushalayim for four students. Parents and family joined the Bar Mitzvah boys, along with the staff and students of the Talmud Torah, enjoying the beautifully set tables, the singing, and the dancing.
A Very Special Birthday
What did Chana from our Mishol HaOzrad apartment ask for as a present for her sixtieth birthday? To daven at the Kotel.
Preparing for the Siddur Party
The students in first grade at Talmud Torah Otzar Yerushalayim are in the midst of excited preparations for their siddur party. The students have learned to identify individual words in the siddur and use a special siddur that was prepared for them.
Siddur Celebrations
As part of the principle that our activities are age and community appropriate, there were siddur celebrations in the first grade classes at Maoz Yerushalayim and Otzar Yerushalayim.
End of the Year Performance
Women from three of Seeach Sod’s residences participated in an amazing performance sponsored by the community centers of Romema and Ramot. Over the course of the year, the women participated in a dance club at the community center, and their end of the year performance was extremely impressive.
