Life Skills Training Apartments
When a modest news story was published, followed by a sign-up announcement, a wave of demand for training apartments catering to yeshiva students with ASD was drawn. This new project, in collaboration with the Ministry of Welfare, was founded following Seeach Sod’s resounding success running their general training apartments.
Respite and Trips
Sheves Achim in the Old City
Thirty young men from Kollel Chazon Dov (a kollel that pairs up Seeach Sod Ma’as members with chavrusos from the mainstream community) spent an uplifting Shabbos in the Old City of Yerushalayim. Some of the highlights of the Shabbos included davening at the kosel, eating seudah shelishis at the home of Rabbi Yitzchok Pindrus and receiving a special souvenir – a compilation of tefillos for Shavuos.
Vacation for Mothers
The mothers of Seeach Sod students enjoyed an invigorating 3-day vacation in the Kinar Hotel this January. On the way to the hotel, the buses stopped at the kever of the Shlah Hakadosh, where the mothers devoted a few minutes to heartfelt tefillah.
Vocational Program Travels to Venice
Seeach Sod’s vocational program is one of our central projects. Our goal is to enable the adults in the program to achieve their potential by removing obstacles preventing them from finding work and by encouraging them to live independently, contribute to the community, earn a salary, and experience a feeling of self-confidence and satisfaction.

Summer vacation is under way at Seeach Sod
Male residents of Seeach Sod’s residential housing program are kicking off their summer with a vacation in Mitzpeh Yericho, while our female students are enjoying an array of activities and events in Givat Washington.
Summer Retreat
From August 12 to August 16, 160 men from our group apartments enjoyed a terrific 5-day respite in Moshav Cherev Le’at in the Sharon region.
A summer at Seeach Sod
Seeach Sod had prepared itself for months before the summer programs had begun in order to be able to give its students and residents maximum enjoyment for the summer 2014.
