Following a period of intense and challenging work, the participants in the men’s vocational program who work in industrial factories had the opportunity to use their hard-earned income to pay for an enjoyable outing, a wonderful reward for their hard work throughout the winter.

Mr. Avrumi Stein, coordinator of the Supported Employment branch of the Vocational Training Program, arranged a Shabbaton in Moshav Beit Chilkiya for his hard-working boys. The boys in this group work in business or public establishments such as bakeries, hospitals, supermarkets, and City Hall. The boys enjoyed a refreshing, well-deserved break from their busy workweek, in the rural setting of Beit Chilkiya.

This year, our group home residents enjoyed a rejuvenating retreat in a stunning resort on Har Canaan, in the Tzfat mountainside.  Each group home received their own villa, each one surrounded by lush lawns and with its own Jacuzzi.

In Israel, schools organize a sleepover mid-summer get away ….so naturally, so do we! And "מחנה", as it's called, finally arrived for our 40 girls in Maoz Yerishalyim, from 6th grade and up!

Music and dancing, inspirational speeches, stimulating workshops, artistic sand creations, a fascinating film… All of these in addition to Yam Hamelach’s wholesome air, scenic views and famous spas, equaled a most memorable retreat – one that provided the mothers with maximum relaxation and rejuvenation.

From January 18-20, mothers of Seeach Sod members went on an exclusive mother's retreat to the Kinar Hotel up north.

Seeach Sod is always trying to implement new ideas. For the last two years the men in the Supported Employment program in Ma'as used the money that they had saved from their salaries to travel abroad. We coined this new program, "Work Hard-Travel Far". In 2015, the men traveled to Ukraine and in 2016 they traveled to Vienna and Hungary.

This summer, from August 2-10th, 340 adult members of Seeach Sod vacationed in  "Mitzpe Yericho", in a gorgeous site near the Dead Sea, where they spent the week with fun filled activities.

The women staff of Seeach Sod had a three day retreat up north a few months ago at a hotel filled with activities, concerts and fun! But what about the men staff?
