ISO 9001 certification
On February 23rd, Seeach Sod's Supporting Housing Program received a renewal of ISO 9001 certification for its excellent and sufficient quality standards.
The certification is an international recognition and stamp of approval of the outstanding operation of Seeach Sod's 35 group homes in Jerusalem.
The CEO is grateful to all the staff who made this certification possible.
Inauguration Ceremony for Seeach Sods Dental Clinic, Smile for Life
On January 18th, Seeach Sod held a ceremony in honor of opening their first ever dental clinic for special needs children and adults.
Preparations for the Opening of a Third Apartment in Beit Shemesh
The girls who will be living in the new apartment joined together to shop for furniture. The girls’ mothers joined the trip, the motto of which was “self-advocacy” – the final decisions lay in the hands of the residents themselves, and the furniture was chosen according to their personal taste.
Continuing Education for Administrators
On Tu B’Shvat, Seeach Sod administrators gathered together for a day of lectures and discussion. The event took place in our new building on Rechov Chakimi in Bayit Vegan, providing an opportunity for staff to get a glimpse of the facility that will soon serve our talmud Torah and yeshivot.

The 5779 School Year Begins with Gratitude and Prayer
958 students of all ages began the new school year at Seeach Sod – 445 under the auspices of the Department of Education and 513 under the auspices of the Department of Welfare. The school frameworks include a rehabilitative day care center, nursery classes, elementary schools, boys’ talmudei Torah, and a yeshiva, as well as the vocational centers in Jerusalem, Bnei Brak, and Beit Shemesh. The residents of our 45 residences marked the opening of the school year with great excitment.
Preparing for the New School Year
During the week before school began, male staff and female staff participated in preparatory conferences in the Beit Yisrael Hall. Rav Yossi Deutch, candidate for mayor of Jerusalem, spoke at the women’s conference, focusing on the importance of Seeach Sod’s work on behalf of individuals with special needs. Mrs. Yael Zaltz spoke to the female staff about using time productively at work. Rav Segal spoke at the men’s conference on the topic of creativity in education.
Events for Male and Female Staff
Nearly 100 female staff members recently enjoyed a staff vacation at the Kinar hotel. The three-day getaway included interesting programing, exciting trips, and relaxation for the body and soul. On the first night, there was a fascinating panel discussion run by staff members from Seeach Sod’s schools.
A Very Special Haggadah – Illustrated by the Children and Adults of Seeach Sod
Seeach Sod is proud to present the results of a unique project – a Haggadah illustrated by the children and adults in our programs.
Dedication of Another Residence in the Supported Housing Program in Beit Shemesh
Seeach Sod recently dedicated another residence as part of its Supported Housing Program in Beit Shemesh. Deputy Mayor Rina Hollander and Director of the Welfare Department Gila Ronen took part in the ceremony.
