'Chumash Celebration at 'Otzar Yerushalayim
"חזו חזו בני חביבי"
At an exciting celebration, the students of the "Otzar Yerushalayim" Chieder, part of Seeach Sod, marked the beginning of their study of the Chumash.
The event was attended by parents, grandparents, many family members, and the Mayor of Jerusalem, Mr. Moshe Lion.
Vocational Program Activities During the Coronavirus Crisis
Everyone found the long days of lockdown that were forced upon us to be difficult, but individuals with disabilities were most deeply affected, as their regular schedules were upended. The staff of Seeach Sod’s vocational programs extended great efforts to make the time as pleasant as possible.
Seeach Sod was mentioned in a conference on the international standard for quality management as an exemplary example!
In a conference led by Dr. Isaac Tamuz, owner of his own management consulting firm on ISO 9001, Seeach Sod was mentioned as an outstanding example of an organization that uses this standard to demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements. Go Seeach Sod!
Seeach Sod women and girls participate in this years’ Tzamid Festival.
The long awaited Tzamid Festival, a Jerusalem Municipality program that takes place every year was held this year in the Romema community center.
Seeach Sod’s administrative staff traveled to Tiberias for two days of seminars and relaxation.
Tiberias was the perfect setting to hold seminars for Seeach Sod’s administrative staff. This well-deserved break seem to be just what they needed. Staff returned refreshed and even more motivated to improve services to special needs individuals.
A “High-Flying Adventure”!
Residents of two group homes were treated to a high-flying adventure last week: a half hour jet ride over the entire country! Most of the boys had never flown before in their life and were admittedly a tiny bit anxious about flying.
Pirchei Seeach Performs at The Event
Once again the Pirchei Seeach Choir impressed a large English speaking audience at The Event, a networking fair for the Anglo community that took place on August 1 in the International Convention Center in Jerusalem.
Elul
Usually, as we begin to hear the sound of the shofar, the school year begins. This year, however, since Elul began in early August, the school system remained closed until a week and a half before Rosh Hashanah.
Welcome to First Grade!
Sunday, September 1st was Orientation Day for the new first graders in Seeach Sod’s Early Childhood Division. The girls showed up bright and early, together with their mothers.
Dressed in starched uniform shirts and clutching their brand new knapsacks, their eyes shone with excitement as they took in the scenes of their new “big-girl” classroom, their teachers and classmates.
Yavneh Israel Experience came to visit Seeach Sod!!
The awesome teens joined our elementary school students' in Ramot to do a special arts n' crafts activity together! We thank them for taking a day from their trip here in Israel to be with our students!!!!!
