Ma’as Members Tour Airport
The members of the Bnei Brak Ma’as enjoyed an autumn outing to Ben Gurion Airport. The boys were given a guided tour, which included watching take-offs and landings as well as detailed explanations on all of the airport’s components.
The school year is off to a great start
September 1st was an exciting day for all of Seeach Sod's students and teachers. After thrilling summer adventures, we were ready to get back to school. Everyone was excited - our 3 groups of rehabilitative day care, 9 kindergarten classes, and 49 elementary, middle, and high school classes across 4 different campuses.
Simon on the Run!
On November 17, Simon ran a half-marathon in Las Vegas together with his friend David Winston and raised money to buy iPads for his Autistic son and his classmates at Beit Metzudot, Seeach Sod's branch for severe disorders. Simon Levine moved from England to Israel with his wife and children in 2012. The catalyst for their Aliyah: their autistic son Shmuel.
Bnei Brak Shabbaton for Otzar Yerushalayim
The students of Otzar Yerushalayim enjoyed a most uplifting Shabbos in Bnei Brak together with the Bnei Brak Vocational Training Center members. The Shabbaton was organized by devoted maggid shiur Rabbi Esterzohn
A Day in the Shuk
Residents of the Morgenthau Apartment enjoyed a tour in the Machane Yehudah. The boys enjoyed meandering through the colorful stalls, conversing with vendor and making some tasty purchases for themselves!
Angels in the Snow
Mothers in Jerusalem had their hands full occupying their kids who were off from school for 5 days during the recent snowstorm. Now try to imagine what the staff .of Seeach Sod’s Residential Program had to contend with, having to occupy a total of more than 100 adults with special needs around the clock
First-time Tefillin at the Age of Forty!
During a meeting to discuss the personal advancement plan of Erez, a new resident who just joined the “Daf Yomi Apartment” (apartments are named according to the name of their streets), it was discovered that sadly, Erez had never donned Tefillin in his life.
Another Group Home on the Map
Another apartment has been added to Seeach Sod's network of group homes.
A Generous "Sole"!
Aviva, young girl from Chicago expressed her generosity and kindness in the form of new pairs of TOMS shoes for 20 girls with special needs living in Seeach Sod's group homes.
Incredible Crafts Project at Hadassah’s Pediatric Ward
A group of girls from Seeach Sod’s Ma’as are engaging in community volunteerism at its best! Once a month, the girls will go to Hadassah Hospital, where they will make arts and crafts with children from the pediatric surgery, oncology, and surgery wards.
