Ma'oz Yerushalyim had winter-camp!
Our girls' school in Ramot had a special "vacation" from their routine. Their two days were filled with fun activities, shows, projects and excitement!
Purim Katan in Otzar Yerushalyim
Otzar Yerushalyim's High School students had a grand-old-time on Purim Katan dancing, singing, dancing, dressing up and having a mock Tisch. Just wait until it's really Purim to see how they enjoy Adar!
3 Steps back, 3 steps forward, many steps ahead!
Most of say Shmonei Esri without even thinking twice. But it is a big deal for special needs children to start this exceptional Tefillah! On Tuesday, March 8th, the 3rd grade in Maoz Yerushalayim (girl's school) celebrated their starting to Daven Shmonei Esrei.
Calling All Mothers!
A special breakfast seminar was held for our Early-Childhood student's mothers. Seeach Sod invited the mothers of the 80 day care center and preschoole toddlers, (Maon Tzur and Ganei Eshkol) to come get a taste of their children's days and activities with an emphasis on their paramedical treatments. Naturally, parents are more in contact with the teachers than therapists so this gave them a chance to meet the entire staff!
Misibat Chumash!
With the involvement of parents, grandparents, siblings and friends, Otzar Yerushalayim's 1st grade boys received their very first Chumash at their Misibat Chumash party. The special day was coordinated by Rabbi Yechiel Esterzon and the students actively participated by singing and quoting Pasukim while dressed in royal uniform and decorated crowns.
A special day for the 4th grade girls
The 4th grade girls class in Maoz Yerushalyim had a real atmosphere to Simcha during the month of Adar!
Keeping busy the week before Pesach!
45 elementary school aged kids enjoyed a pre-Pesach “camp.” The program included a theatrical play, games, special art projects, water activities and learning. The week-long camp was packed with song and dance to ensure these students were fully inspired for a lively Chag.
Seeach Sod management visit adults at their locations of employment!
Seeach Sod coordinates with businesses all over Jerusalem whom employ 70 special needs adults to work as their employees. These Seeach Sod adults work, and receive salaries, as part of their vocational training.
Third year Jeeping with Barel!
The Friday before Pesach, Seeach Sod students went jeeping with the rescue unit of Barel. They gave Seeach Sod 18 jeeps and together with their volunteers, our guyshad a total blast! Rabbi Eitan Pinhassi, our music teacher, came up with dozens of darbukas and all the jeepers drummed and sang songs together.

The men and boys of Maas, Otzar Yerushalayim and Beit Metzudot all had an amazing Lag B'omer bonfire!
